Yes English is from England and as Americans claim to speak English why can`t they understand simple things. I got a violation for saying I went out on a bender which means I got drunk not gay sex and have had many violations because of Americans. So either Americans can`t speak English or they are thick

If i didn`t understand what a term meant i would not report it as a violation that is simply moronic

You are absolutely right. People in the USA are generally very prissy, except when it comes to abandoning human rights and invading countries. P**** (affectionate word for a cat) is not allowed, neither is the normal word for a female dog, a male hen or the blue t***s that peck through the foil tops of milk bottles.
Oh and people in the UK now make a commute, rather than a journey to work.

Let's start a Society for the Protection of the ENGLISH Language - we could call it SPEL.

Or maybe your just a person whining like a little baby to make yourself feel better.

Americans came from England, seperated from England, and spoke a different form of language. I could do the same thing with you, and start talking American slang, and you wouldn't know what I was talking about! Then I could turn it around on you and ask why English people don't understand English.

As far as your violation goes, that just shows how stupid you are, not that Americans misunderstand their own form of the language.

The English language has become "corrupted" in
America because of all the different people of
other cultures and languages mistaking meanings
of words, taking English words out of proper
context, and injecting their own native dialects
into phrases, expressions and sentences. One
class I took in elementary school was
diagramming sentences, which I hated but
probably did me a lot of good in the English
department. Some foreigners might benefit
from classes, but I've met one from Yemen
who speaks English pretty well just from
listening.

For the same reason Geordies can't understand the Cockneys..different dialect. As for the violation..I agree it's stupid..you can't write the short form for cigarette..(phag with an f) as it is the American word for a poof, but you CAN write poof. Strange!
