Ask God if you belong at the church.

If you are at the church for your own reasons and not God's reasons you are damned to hell because you are putting your faith in yourself and not in God.

You and your wife need to pray together and ask guidance from God. No one else can give you any advice on the subject.

You have my prayers.

In Christ.

Seriously? Sounds like you are member of a church that is too wrapped up in the politcs of religion rather that a church that is intrested in seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ.

What happened to your child is wrong, and needs to be addressed. If you church is so closed minded to consider the possibility that there may be an issue that needs to be addressed, I would wonder what else they are being cloed to.

I have seen this in other churches, where RELIGION runs the church instead of the Spirt of God. Churches like this require their members to follow a set of religious doctrine that is not Biblical and is only geared towards making the outward self appear Holy rather than working on the inner spirity of the person.

Seriously - I'd be looking for a new church that embraces the Relationship of Christ. When you have the pastors wife (a head icon in the church) yelling at you like that, it's bad news. As the head goes, so goes the body.

Shakespeare is absolutely right - Even as an Atheist, he can see that this sort of behavior will only drive your kids away from the church when the get older. Think about their future. How do you want them to view the church - as a place where they got abused or a place where they can find joy, peace, and be themselves with their maker?

It sounds as if you need to find a different church. Pray that God will lead you to the right church, there are so many to choose from. Maybe this is happening for a reason- maybe it is time to move on, as you have grown as much as you can at your present church. Look at it as a blessing- everything happens for a reason- and start searching for your new church home and family! I'm praying for you too. Peace to you.

This is simple.

It doesnt require prayer. It requires action.

If you are going someplace where your children are being hurt, you need to stop going there.

SURELY there is another church you can go to if you must go.

And as a atheist i assure you, the fastest way to turn your children away from god is for them to start making the connection of Church = Suffering.

Good grief that is painful to look at.

Here's some scholarly advice - take a few low-level English classes.

Oh, and your church is full of hypocrites and they don't give a fig about you or your children.
