in studying the mormon church, i have found many agreable teachings that are true. The first one i would like to ask about to see if people agree with the correction is Genesis 19:39 jst.
The word wickedness was added to the normal Kjv which described both the judgment of God on the acts of the daughter of Lott and rebuked the conspiracy that both daughters combined together in.

Is there proof that it was originally wrong? I don't think it's a good idea to change or add to the bible. Makes it look like you are trying to rewrite it to your own ambitions.

You are correct in that people are relying upon a Holy Book, which was translated by man. So, the fallacies of man could be found in the Book. This does not mean the Book is incorrect or shouldn't be read and followed, but I wouldn't say it was taking away from or adding to the book if someone clarified or reinterpreted parts of the Book.

You dont find anything ODD about adding things to holy scripture?

Like proclaiming black skin to be the mark of cain?

While not overly a religious person, rewriting scripture sure SEEMS like a bad idea.
