I am convinced there is life after death for one reason: Jesus Christ died and was placed in a tomb—and three days later came back to life.
Think about it a moment: What would it take to prove to us that there is life after death? The answer is clear: Someone would have to die, and then come back to life again. It wouldn't be enough for them to have a so-called "near-death" experience; their death would have to be real. And it wouldn't be enough for only one or two people to see them; it would require many witnesses.
But has this ever happened? Yes—when Jesus Christ rose from the grave! His death was real; hard-bitten Roman guards made sure He was dead before they took Him down from the cross. And His resurrection was real also, because hundreds saw Him during the next forty days. Paul, writing over 25 years later, noted that "he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living" (1 Corinthians 15:6).
How could this happen? It happened because Jesus Christ was not just another man. He was God's only Son, sent from heaven to save us from our sins. Only He could say, "I am the resurrection and the life. ... Whoever lives and believes in me will never die" (John 11:25-26). This can be your hope, by giving your life to Christ today.

I'm sorry but this question needs a long answer...
If you're a "scientifical" thinker you'll say, "There's no proof!" but science doesn't solve anything. You can use all the knowledge in the world and it will all point to no, but scientists know nothing relatively important. Sure they know unimportant things like chemicals and crap, but they don't really KNOW anything. If you travel high in the sky you'll see space for forever, so scientifically, there's nothing. But that's why they call it "faith". You don't have any proof but something deep in your heart tells you what's real.
My personal opinion is you wouldn't live just to die and that be the end. What's 100 years on Earth (a human life)? That's nothing, and that's stupid. I think that the world isn't stupid like that, and there is some purpose, but honestly, it's all up to you.

I believe that when we die we are held accountable for the things we do on this earth. If you do bad you are held accountable and if you do good you are held accountable. Being here is like being in the womb. We grow and perceive things until we are ready to be born in the spirit. That is why God doesn't want us to kill ourselves. That would be like an abortion. You cant move on until you are ready or prepared or have grown enough to move on because you cant understand or come to grips with what is beyond if you do. I think we create the next lives ourselves through our lives and experiences. if you live a terrible life full of hate then your after life will reflect this. On the other hand if your life is full of peace and understanding then your after life will reflect this. I hope this helps.

For all the people that think that there is no such thing as heaven the spirits are lost. How could you think the natural wonders on this earth were made? They are gifts from God, just like God gives everyone a gift. You may ask, who am i to say whether heaven and hell is real? Go to church and ask God whether its real or not.

There is absoluetly a Heaven and absolutely a Hell. The average person is given about 70 years to decide where they want to spend eternity. Many would argue this, but at the worst, i figure why take the chance of spending all of eternity in hell? lets shoot for the heaven thing, and then if I'm wrong, its' no big loss. Why gamble on eternity? Eternity is a really long time!!

I would like to believe that there is both. It would seem wrong to share heaven with Hitler. I would also like to think there was a place of rest after this life.

I believe that Heaven is the all in composing presence of God and that hell is the complete absences of God.
I believe that God is spirit and that his spirit is in all creation. Creation being everything that came from the “thought” of God.
God’s Spirit is in us and guides our spirit if we let him.
If you do not choose God, your spirit will face eternal separation and isolation from God.

I believe God and He said there was heaven and hell. The entire Bible was written to keep me out of hell. So yes.
