I prefer a good single-malt from the Highlands, like Glennfiddich - either straight-up or with a little distilled water added to enhance the aroma..no ice. I'm always looking to try different scotches, although I'm not a fan of the Islay region variety.

I too prefer a good single malt. I like Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Bowmore... Also I usually keep a bottle of JW Black Label for ordinary evenings and for 'just dropped by' guests :) I usually take it on the rocks. Is distilled water better than bottled water to mix with Scotch? (and I thought I knew a lot)
