The word Copacabana means beautiful. It is described as a simple meaning for a complicated word. The name is derived from the Aymara kota kahuana, meaning "view of the lake".

Copacabanna is a beach in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)...
That's what it is.
Sure... there a a bunch of clubs named after it. But the beach is the most important one.
There is also a city named like that in Colombia and Bolivia, and also a Municipality in Argentina. But the beach is what has made the word Copacabana famous!
