There is no reason you can't be the same size you were before. Age and children has zip to do with fat.
Eat right and exercise.
A gym is not necessary. The only time I go is to swim laps. The best exercises are free and outdoors. Get out and walk with the baby. Get a decent stroller and run with him/her.
Don't have time? Time is a matter of priorities. Examine what you do with your time. Is American Idol more important than exercise? Yapping on the phone for an hour?
The President of the United States finds time to bike and run. Are you busier than he is?

Try to eat healthly as dieting would effect your babys health at this stage if your still breast feeding. Even if you are not I would still not recomend dieting as you will end up gaing even more weight in the long run. Try to include more fruit and vegetable and slow releasing carbs (brown rice/pasta). Also make sure you have enough iron in your diet as this will seriously effect your energy levels and as a result your motivation to exercise.
Get your partner or a friend to look afteryour baby at least once a week so you can attend a dance class or try something alternativelike roclimbing. Choose something diffrent as the challange will give you motivation and allso e you socialising with other adults unlike the gym. You could also try a fun fitness dvd that you could do at home.
In the meantime try paring your self to make you feel better about your body. Have spa day or arange a weekly time when the baby's looked after to relax in the bath or give yourself a pedicure. I would also recomend trying a flotation tank, which will help you make up any missed sleep (1 hour flotation equals 4 hours sleep). You could also hire a personal photographer to take some picturess of you (they will make you look your best as they will know your best angle). You could be really brave and try something risque (to spice up things with your partner) or have picture of you and your baby. So when you look at the photos you know that it (gaing the weight) was worth it as you have this beautifull baby to show for it. :-)

U eat only when hungry and that too not more than three times a day with only and only water in between. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. In the process u enjoy it more and make ur body motor system tell u that u have had enough.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve the ideal weight effortlessly in a reasonable time.

Fats are nothing more than stored acid. By taking alkaline food, you prevent the intake of acid to create more fats.
Besides doing exercise, you must eat only alkaline food.
Read the book "pH miracle for weight loss". See photos of people losing weight at ease. If you want to loose weight super fast, there is an alkaline liquid diet. According the book, people are loosing 10 pounds or more within the first 8 days. Go to the website below to see which food (and even fruits) that are acidic.

No, say goodbye to your new curves.
There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn’t get buff for Fight Club by drinking green tea, and you won’t either.
Hoodia, on the other hand, has been scientifically proven to reduce hunger. The problem with hoodia is that it is not regulated by the FDA, and studies have indicated that most products claiming to contain hoodia actually have little, if any, pure African hoodia. Those products that did contain hoodia were inconsistent from one capsule to the next. I have found two brands that seem to be consistent and effective, Relacore and PowerNutra.
Exercise doesn’t mean you have to join a gym or go to an aerobics class, although I would highly recommend it. To burn fat, you should exercise at a moderate pace for at least thirty minutes. A moderate pace is one in which your heart rate is elevated but you’re not so winded that you can’t carry on a normal conversation. That is the mode in which your body burns fat stores. High heart-rate cardio work tells your body to burn glycogen and store the fat for later—you don’t want that.
Walk for 30 minutes every day including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week. You don’t need additional equipment—infomercial products like the Ab Lounger, Sauna Belt, etc. are all worthless gimmicks so don’t waste your money.
Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don’t starve yourself during the day—many low-calorie diets fail because when you go hungry, your body switches to “famine mode” and stores fat for the coming drought. On the other hand, if you don't wake up ravenous, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.
Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Your primary source of sustenance should be grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts and canned tuna (in water, not oil). No dairy (except low fat cottage cheese occasionally); no processed meats; no heavy sauces; no chips, cookies, sodas, breads, etc.
Another trick I’ve learned about reducing calories is to “clean the pipes”. You can do this by eating more raw vegetables and fresh fruit. You can also streamline the process with fiber supplements. I like Metamucil and Dr. Schulze Intestinal Formula.
Other than a daily multi-vitamin like Centrum Advanced Formula, the only other supplement recommended is an Omega-3 fish oil capsule like Carlson Laboratories Super Omega-3 Fish Oils. Omega-3 is a vital fatty acid that our bodies don’t produce. Omega-3 benefits are wide-ranging and proven by clinical studies. From heart health to depression treatment to pregnancy health, Omega-3 benefits are too good to ignore if you are interested in health.

shrink the quantity you're eating by technique of 25% - i.e. do exactly not eat as a lot. Are you snacking on chips, ice cream, or sweet (ever)? if so, stop. Do you drink alcohol (ever)? if so, stop. Do you eat eggs? change to egg whites (they arrive in cartons now, so that you do not could separate). Do you eat meat? Is so, change to fish, and some fowl. Are you taking a multivitamin? If no longer start up. Are you eating vegetables with both lunch and dinner? If no longer, start up - eat lots. eat as many vegetables (eco-friendly) as you are able to stuff in. Do you eat any quick food? For god's sake, stop. which could be a reliable start up.

I wouldn't worry so much about my apperence if I were you, your a mother, you don't need to look like a supermodel. But I understand why you would want to lose a few pounds. Just try eating healthier foods than usual, small proprotions, and try to walk your baby around your block everyday.
I know it doesn't seem like much, but hope this helps!
