how many working days will it take for a parcel to get from china to my front door in england

This will all depend how the shipper sends it ?
1. Post :Air or Sea
2. Or by Fedex/DHL
The latter will probably take one week .
By sea post , two months,by air10 days

The one I sent from China to France by airmail took 3 weeks and the opposite ( from France to China ) took about the same time.
Just be sure that there is nothing illigal in your parcel or the Chinese custom may not send it as the often open parcel to check what is inside.

Depends whether it's sent airmail or surface mail.
Airmail: allow 2-3 weeks plus time in customs (you have to pay VAT and duty if the value is over a certain limit).
Surface mail: up to 6 months.

If its something of real value I don't recommend using the Post Office. Regular Air Mail from China Post to England can take up to 4 weeks. Usually takes 3 weeks tops but again it depends if you are mailing from big cities or small rural cities.

"20-11-2009 19:13 Delivery Agent - CHINA Collected from customer" This means that your parcel is being shipped FROM China, and that the package has been accepted by the shipping company so that it may be delivered to you.

If you check out China Post website and there service EMS, you could find out for yourself.I have sent many package's to The United States of late in about 4 days by DHL they weighed in excess of 15kg and fragile contents.So you could use a Carrier and have it delivered in about 4 days.

Depends on the way you choose. Through the airmail, usually it'll take less than a week. But it's expensive.
Through shipping, it'll take more than a month to get to your door. But it's supposed to be very cheap.

It depends hoe it was sent. If it was FedEx, UPS etc... it could be a few days, if it was by China post it could take a few weeks, if it was by sea (surface mail) it will take several months.

it all depends on which route it is shipped. when i left china, i shipped a couple of packages home (west coast, usa), i shipped via sea and it took about 8 weeks to reach my house.
