Yeah it just depends on the person.
My earliest was from when I was about 18-21months(im not too sure but I remember it was a while before I turned 2). I know it sounds strange but I can remember being on holidays in my nappie and walking on the balcony to watch some island dancers with my mom and dad and then dropping my bottle off the balcony. I mentioned it to my mom and she says that happened except I remember it looking a bit different to how it was. After that I don't have any memories until I was like 3-4yrs or something.
I have the kind of mind that when it comes to learning and remembering stuff I cant remember a single thing but when it comes to memories I remember nearly everything

My earliest memory is more like clips. I remember sitting on my dad's shoulders. I remember feeling his hair under my hands and the feel of glass against my forehead. I was at the hospital seeing my sister for the first time. I was 2 1/2 years old

Yes I can remember from about 15 months I remember falling out my cot on to my mum and dads bed and can describe the cot even though they got rid of it when I was 18 months old. Very vague memories but more clear from 2years on wards. I think certain events stick in your mind from any age. Some say they come back in dreams as well.

Unfortunately my first memory is a bad one of my mother, I was around 2 1/2 - 3. My mother was beating me with a wooden spoon, and then for some reason comforted me afterwards like she hadn't done anything wrong! She left shortly afterwards.
Not a very nice one but that's my first memory.

My earliest memory is when I burnt the soles of my feet quite badly and had to sleep with my feet in cold water. My Mum tells me I was 21 months at the time.

My earliest memory dates back to before two years old. I was in a foster home (just before my mum came and adopted me) and i can remember their lounge and their dog.
I think very early memories stick in your head because they are significant (ie maybe you got a fright / were scared / or were very sick)

I was about 2 years old. My mum worked nights and I remember my dad trying to give me a bottle of formula in the middle of the night and i was crying because I didn't like the taste but I couldn't tell him!! I even remember thinking that I didn't like it!!

Myself , I was very young in a cot, I can remember rocking back and foe standing up, my cot was at the bottom of my parents bed, they were sleeping and I was trying to wake them up . That's it , only that part I can remember . Djones x P.S. i must of been around 1yr old, to be still in a cot in my parents bedroom and the fact I could stand by holding on to the cot.

I told my mum about my eariest memory of a big house and a scary room, I described it all to her and she said that I had just turned two and we had gone to friends of my fathers for a day but I was scared of this room so we left early.
