Where is Hell's location, use the bible to referrence your answers. Otherwise, it will only come from your heart, not God.
When do you go to "Hell"? (Those who don't qualify for Heaven).
Was Jesus in Hell? If so, where was that? I have 3 scriptures that seem to answer this question. What do you say about these Scritpures?
Acts 2:31
" . . . seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in HELL"
Matthews 12:40
"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH. "
Ephesians 4:9,
says of Jesus: "Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH."

The word from which we get "Hell" is Hades in Greek and Sheol in Hebrew. It's the place where all dead people went before the cross because until the Lord's blood was shed no one could get into Heaven. Many Christians confuse this place with the place of eternal torment to which unbelievers will be sent.
In Matt 12:40 Jesus talked about spending 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the Earth. This is where we get the idea of its location. Since the cross, no believer has gone there, but upon death goes directly to heaven. And the unbelievers in hell will be brought back to life for their judgment at the end of the Millennium. At that time they'll be sent to their final destiny and the place in the heart of the Earth will cease to exist. The place of eternal judgment is called the Lake of Fire in some places and the Outer Darkness in others
The Bible mentions Hell as a place: The fiery lake of burning sulfur, the lake of fire, the pit, gloomy dungeons...
"The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur" (Rev.19:20)
"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever... Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death" (Rev.20:10, 14).
"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, as for murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death." (Rev.21:8)
"For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment" (2Pet.2:4).
Where is Hell Located?:
Some think Hell is everywhere, that the damned are at liberty to roam about in the entire universe, but that they carry their punishment with them... most theologians believe the damned be limited in their movements and confined to a definite place.
The Bible seems to indicate that hell is within the earth, for it describes Hell as an abyss to which the wicked descend. We even read of the earth opening and of the wicked sinking down into Hell (Rev.20:3, 17:8, 9:1, Ro.10:7, Ps.69:15, Num.16:31-34, Is.5:14, Ez.16:20).
This may be a metaphor to illustrate the state of separation from God: Although God is omnipresent, He is said to dwell in heaven, because the light and grandeur of the stars and the firmament are the brightest manifestations of His infinite splendor. But the damned are utterly estranged from God; hence their abode is said to be as remote as possible from his dwelling, far from heaven above and its light, and consequently hidden away in the dark abysses of the earth

i believe the only location the bible really tells us of Hell's location is that it is somewhere that God is not. God is in heaven and God is on earth. It cannot be in those places. Because in Revelation, Heaven is described as above him, people have said that Heaven is in the sky or above us. This leaves one place for Hell and that is beneath the earth. This just gives people a suggested location to talk about with it. It is very hard for humans to imagine something being a place that is not on this earth, so they have assigned Hell's spot under us.

Ephesians 4:9 speaking of Jesus
"........He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?"
As you have shown and Jesus spoke about often, hell is in the lower parts of the earth or way below ground where the core of the earth heats.

Hell has no physical location, or its inhabitants would have been spit up volcanos by now. They would also have popped up from mid-oceanic ridges.
The depths of the Earth have layers of molten rock, and these layers are continually moving in a cycling called convection. This convection is what causes mid-oceanic ridges to form, so why don't we see these inhabitants in the bubbling rock? Why do we not have physical evidence of them from the ocean floor?
It's simple, because hell is not a physical location. It is the spiritual state of being remote from God, and there are infinite degrees of hell.
Btw, the core of the earth is solid iron, so there are no inhabitants there. The solid core is surrounded by a liquid iron core. If there were inhabitants, seismologists would have been able to detect them by now.

There are 162 references to HELL in the New Testament alone, over 70 of those spoken by Jesus Himself.
" He that believeth and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus
"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)
Jesus called it a literal place of real torment...

Hell is something crated by man (the church) to keep others under control through fear. Treating them like children who are not cabable of thinking for themselves.
THERE IS NO HELL BUT IN THE MIND OF MAN
(this is something from the Belief System or Religion that has become part of a cultural belief in the societies that
predominantely are followers of that religion.)
God or as I refer to it Source of All Oneness is the conscious
energy in all things. We are only conscious energy in human
form, there is no heaven/hell or above/below. There is no
reality to the physical matter.....modern man has physics
that proves this and it does not take away from the belief
in ONE Creator of All Things and clarifies how we are made in that likeness. It explains the ONE in scientific
terms suitable for todays modern educated man, who unlike the man of 2000yr ago knows the world is not flat, and in
looking up does not see heaven but the expanse of the
universe our solar system is part of. all of which is the
Conscious Energy in likeness of the original Creator..

Hell is mentioned more times in the bible than heaven is. I learned that from taking several biblical classes. I'm not going to post all the places that it is mentioned in the bible because a lot of you have already done a pretty good job. But the bottom line for me is that I believe it's a place of conscious suffering.

Hell (KJV) or in Hebrew sheol and in Greek hades--is where all who die are buried. Jesus physically died and was buried in a tomb (hell;grave) He was not left in hell (tomb;grave) because he was resurrected by his Father and went back to heaven, where he had been long before he came to earth. The Bible teaches that all those in hell will one day be resurrected back to life--some to life in heaven, the rest to life here on earth. ( Revelation 20:13)
After that, death & hell will be no more--gone forever. (Revelation 20:14)

Heaven and Hell are both spiritual places - they don't exist in the physical world as we know it, and as a result cannot be seen with the carnal/natural eyes.
Quite obviously, these are two different places and their occupants are also different.
