This is for research for a novel, not military-based, but to cover their tracks of a sting operation that would last ten minutes. Is it possible? I've checked it out at Wikipedia: it's less harmful and dangerous to use it.

Never heard of a "red phosphorous smoke bomb?" But they do make smoke grenades in all the colors of the rainbow...

Hmmm, I personally wouldnt be using Phos. inside any building I'm in. It's still got an incendiary effect, plus the bursting radius in an enclosed space proabaly not good.

And not to mention, even the M8 HC smoke will screw you up without being masked inside

I'd rather drop a Frag(M67)
