My family sometimes orders a take away but usually there's not much choice for me as I'm vegetarian. Chinese take aways provide the most choices, but I often wonder why take away outlets don't provide more interesting food for vegetarians? Their vegeburgers are those horrible ones with rice and veg which I hate, so why can't they use a better brand of burger, and also vegetarian sausages and nuggets etc? When will we be catered for???
I don't mean a purely vegetarian take away outlet either, that just wouldn't generate enough business to survive.

Dear or dear, fancy me being accused of note being a real vegetarian, despite being one for 15 years. Shame on you kate. And no, Chinese take aways do not serve burgers etc, there is more than one take away outlet y'know. Damn, that was an ignorant answer from you.

What I meant was if a take away is going to provide a vegetarian option, why don't they try a bigger range of foods? If they cook vegetarian burgers already, why don't they get other types of vegetarian food to cook as well?
I don't know if I'm making this clear enough to explain my point?

same for diabetics too-not enough revenue-toomuch preparation and extra expense--that's why there are normal food outlets(not fast food/takeaway)to cater for minority groups

You are ordering American items (burgers , sausages and nuggets) from a Chinese place ? WHY ?
There are tons of vegetarian Chinese dishes , why don't you order those ?
You may as well order pizza from the Chinese place . .
Stop , think , stop ordering American at the Chinese place , order Chinese at the Chinese place .
Most vegetarians get that , which is why Chinese places get more than enough business to survive .

And Why do so many vegetarians keep trying to mimic meat foods ? Burgers ? Sausages ? Nuggets ?
News Flash , those are meat foods and pretend meat foods are Never going to taste like meat foods.
Maybe you really don't want to be vegetarian and are just doing it to be PC ?
