any suggestions on what to do ....i have tried mucinex and have been drinkin water with it and it seems to have been doing nothing...ive also tried to gargle with salt water...nothing

Drink something carbonated and eat some crackers - something crunchy to try & "scrape" the mucous out of the throat.

If you have some mentholyatum or eucalyptus oil. Boil some water put in in a bowl, add a couple of drops of the oil or a half tsp. of the menthol & lean over the bowl (with a towel over your head to keep the steam around your face being careful to not get too close to the water)to help drain your sinus.

The headache might be from your sinuses as well....take something for the pain and go to bed.

try taking in mucalitics and expectorants. and... well continue drinking a lot of water. you can also drink lemonade or orange juice. anything that is rich in vitamins C

headaches are so braod I need more info to work with...there are 3 main types of headaches....sinus,migrane,and tension....cluster and rebounds fall in there somewhere too......where in the throat is it stuck..upper or lower?..more info there too please
