Deep question.
Abel was the first person that made an acceptable sacrifice(lambs) to God. In essence making him the very first "priest" of the Old Covenant where blood sacrifice was required for forgiveness of sins.
There is also a parallel that Abel was killed by his own brother just as Jesus was condemned to death because of his brothers(jewish religious leaders). "A shadow of things to come"
Paul is using the "blood of Abel" as an example of the old covenant and "the blood of sprinkling" as a sign of the new testament because this parallel would have been well known to the audience(Jerusalem) of his letter.
It is a very deep way of saying that the new covenant is better than the old covenant.

The Bible insists that life of every living thing is in the blood. Abel died a righteous man and therefore, he did not die. That's why he speaks though he is dead. Now the blood of Jesus surely does speak better things than that of Abel, since he is a son of God and he committed no sin.
I don't if this makes sense....

Able is declared to be a prophet! He was also the first martyred prophet.
So Israel in their Jewish traditions from the time of Moses believed that his works were a higher authority.
But Paul is declaring of a truth that Jesus is greater than abel because Jesus was the "direct" word of God.
in truth, Jesus was called to be a saviour and a messiah from even before God taught Adam how to make coats of skins and sent Him out of the garden.

Because the sheding of Abel blood can not forgive someone, but the Blood of Jesus Christ can, Abel was born from the sex act & Jesus was born from the virgin birth.

The belief that the blood of Jesus was necessary to cleans the world of sin is a form of the old animal sacrifice idea that was absorbed from pagan cultures.
It has no basis in logic and quickly falls apart with even the least bit of logical scrutiny.
It is only a complete lack of faith in God that allows this idea to go unchallenged in peoples minds.

The blood of Jesus probably symbolizes God's grace for forgiving us and sending Him to die for us. Abel got killed by his brother Cain right??? Maybe his has something to do with vengeance... Don't know...
