when i told a girl i know from work i got her a chinese new year gift when i was oversea's as a friendly gesture, she told me she already has a partner? i told her it was a new years gift not a valentines day gift so im not sure where the partner thing came from. she has not replied back, did i do something wrong?

She's just full of herself. I don't think you did anything wrong. Girls can be like that sometimes.

No u didn't do anything wronge... she misunderstood u thinking u want her to be with u. Explain to her that u r just being friendly and want nothing more from her except a friendship

No maybe she is not use to people doing things like that - or she may have a abusive partner and will get mad if she brings.
