As a nude/lingerie/glamour model for the past 3 years...
Posing nude with a photographer who respects my boundaries and acts professional (regardless on if his skill is amateur or advanced)... can be very empowering.
As a professional model, it is usually NOT a turn on (but nor is it a turn off). Too many other things to think about.
If I have rapport with the photographer, then nude modeling can be almost like shopping, hiking, or any other activity where you're moving and talking alot!
When I first started modeling, with the first few photographers, and the first few times I posed nude at the college... it was thrilling and a little scary. Amazing how quick I got over that though!
Now it's just creative release - sort of like doing any other art that you're good at and truely love :-)

i posed nude for art classes. i enjoyed the attention but the line wasn't crossed. i have since posed for photography classes as well.

I think a lot depends on the photographer. IF the photographer does a poor job of making them feel at ease then the model can relax. The model needs to have confidence in their body and trust that the photographer will make them look beautiful in the final shots.

Depends on the model...if they are experienced then it's no big deal.
