just before this weekend, i was eating really well and lost a pound. Then this weekend, i ate the same, only i went out both nights for dinner and gained 2 and a half pounds.
But the nights i went out for dinner, i didnt eat that much food.
Since 3500 calories are in a pound i know that it is scientifically impossible that i consumed and extra 8750 calories on two dinners.
please can you tell me why this happend and what i can do to loose this little amount of weight!?

The issue is not how many calories is in a pound but how much energy you burned (calorie is a unit of energy) versus the amount of calories you took in.

Eat small, nutritious, low calorie, low fat meals throughout the day, every 3-4 hours, drink plenty of fluids (water has no calories), kick up your exercise a bit and you will loose weight. The frequent small nutritious, low calorie meals keep your body burning the calories at a higher rate.

it is probably just a fluxuation in your water retention. Every one varies day to day and from morning to evening with the amount of water in their bodies. Don't worry about it until you gain at least 5 lbs that don't come off after a week.
