You asked this before, but you still have yet to explain what pain you are talking about, there is so much pain in the world, some of us chose to live in pain to learn, others have no choice, so what pain are you talking about? explain more and you may get better answers?

Yes, good advice.
Of course, they needs to be a 'time' to grieve and deal with our issues, but there comes a time too, when that time ends.
When we choose to keep dwelling on the past negative things which have occured in our lives, then it becomes unhealthy and turns inward on us and begins to fester.
Some do this out of self-pity, enjoying the attention which they get from others. However, a time comes when 'others' will be tired of always trying to help someone who does not want to move forward.
Jesus Christ is the answer for our deepest need. He gives us beauty for ashes, oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness - but of course, we have to seek after it.
I speak from experience here!

If you don't learn a lesson the first time, then you need to take the lesson again. You repeat these lessons until you have learned. Sometimes people are not ready to learn, sometimes it's too hard for them, but everyone learns their particular lessons at the time that is right for them.
When the student is ready, the teacher will come.

What kind of pain? Physical or psychological? Some people want to sacrifice so they bear and grin. It's a personal choice.

Maybe it's the environment in which they spend most their time. Another words, too many reminders. And I also believe it may be all they know so it's too comfortable.
