I'll add my voice to the vote for Weymouth. Not the static caravans though, go for the wooden chalets in the forest... Fantastic for blackberry scrumping!
Many a happy childhood memory.
Of course, Great Yarmouth Haven Holiday Park is family orientated therefore unlikely to be boozy though I DO NOT speak from personal experience there. Oasis and Centre parcs are also great but not sure on the availability of caravans.

try the Ogwen bank Bethesda
I stayed there years ago it was nice then maybe its changed

keepaway from the north and midlands and head for north devon or cornwall or wales of course
