if its permanent straightening ur talkin bout then sure... go ahead...
but if uve just got them ironed or something... then mousse is not only gonna damage it to some extent, but might even undo the straightning!!!
to get a stiffer or wetter look.. try some hair spray at max... that too the ones for dry hair...
don't take silly chances with ur hair otherwise...
have fun!!
Hope I help.. :)

Mousse is made for wet/damp hair, and you usually use it with heat. So, putting in it dry hair will just make your hair sticky. Instead find a product made for dry hair. If your hair is straight or you just want to add some shine or cut down the frizz, you could use a serum, or some gloss drop. If you have curly hair and you want to make it curlier, try a paste. If it's more volume that you want, you might just have to rewash it and blowdry it a different way. And if that's the case, maybe a mousse isn't good for you in the first place. A thickening cream might be better!

Everything we do to our hair damages it to some degree, even just getting it wet. But we really don't notice that level of changes.
If your hair is really stiff you may break some off trying to comb or brush through it. If it's still movable, maybe not. I would want to know why you think you need it if you already dried your hair. If you can add more information to your question perhaps I can give you a more professional answer.
