I am a keen weight trainer and i have been lifting for about 3 years. Im 6ft and 13.4 stone. Nothing amazing but i find that playing football is making my goal of muscle size unachieveable. I am constantly on whey protein/high protein diet, and i make sure that after football i drink 3 or 4 litres.....yet i still loose weight. Do you think i should start on meal replacement supplements in addition? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I'm very new to the weight/gym kind of thing, but I have a similar problem of finding it extremely difficult to put on weight. I'm on at least 5 small meals per day, including a normal sized dinner, plus Maximuscle Cyclone, and I can only add weight if I'm not working, giving me the time to eat the right things at the right times. If I'm working, I tend to lose a pound or so every week.
I've been looking at Met-RX meal replacement, which seems to be a great idea if you don't have the time to eat properly, or if you eat loads but it still isn't really working. I haven't looked too hard, as my weight is slowly increasing and I'm going to see what I can do without it. But if I were you, I'd go for it!

high protein wright after work out and find a calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need, maybe you are not getting enough.
