It could be the Fuel regulator or the idle control valve, have these checked. In addition do a vacuum leak test. It has to be attended by a tech for sure but nothing to worry about. One of the above is surely the reason for erratic idling.

I would also think it is your idle sensor but as long as the check engine light is on you can take it to nearest autozone parts store only if the engine light is on they can check to see what is turning the light on thru diagnosis computer.and there isn't any charge for this. lot easier to start like this instead of buying some high dollar sensor and it may not fix it. and their is no return on electrical parts.usually. best of luck . I dont think it is very serious. but the computer diagnosis is probably the best way to start the trouble shoot as long as engine light is on autozone will test it. worth a try in my eyes.
Good luck and hope i was helpful

No, replacing your oil gained't reason your verify engine ordinary to exhibit again off. verify engine lighting fixtures are there to inform you if something is faulty with the engine or emissions equipment. some new autos could have a "upkeep required" ordinary that comes on to remind you that you want an oil replace. that is thoroughly diverse from a verify engine ordinary inspite of the truth that. in case your vehicle continues to be lower than assure, carry it again to the dealership and characteristic them make certain why the ordinary is on. note that warranties on some emissions kit is longer than a classic 3 year/36K mile bumper to bumper assure. examine your proprietor's guide for data. if you're out of the guaranty era, and favor to hit upon a community mechanic quite of going to a vehicle broking, then you definately may favor to visit the cartalk internet web site. Cartalk is a radio coach, yet on their internet web site they have a community the position you are able to lookup mechanics close to you, and browse client pride surveys. may help those that do not have a lot journey with autos hit upon a trusty, honorable mechanic.

Try to disconnect the battery cable on positive side and then pump your brakes to drain remaining power out. pump them like ten times. This should reset the computer and the light should go off. Then reattach the battery and run the car. If the light comes on again you need to take it to a garage to have it scanned. This should tell you what needs to be done.

if you look around the top of the engine you will see black rubber slim pipes . these are air pipes to the inlet manifold, if any of these are leaking your car will run badly. check them while the engine is running. you will find the leak.
