CAPITALISM IS FOR THE BODY WHILE RELIGION IS FOR THE SOUL, BUT I AGREE THAT WHILE WE ARE YOUNG AND AMBITIOUS CAPITALISM IS BETTER, AND WHEN WE ALREADY GET OLD AND HAVE TOO MUCH WEALTH THEN RELIGION IS BETTER.

Not really. Where religions believe in one thing for the existence of which there's no evidence, capitalism demands belief in "the market", which also only has existence as long as people believe in it. So that would make it just the same as any other religion, wouldn't it? Surely the only purpose of of 72" HDTVs is to make you feel good, which as you say is what religions do for some people - so it's the same belief and reward system as any other faith.

There is nothing you can buy that will follow you to heaven or hell and that includes your wallet. If money is the god that you serve, your treasure will be of short duration.

Capitalism and Religion go hand in hand as long as you have work and can pay the bills your head is above water, as long as you follow your religion and pay you due, you feel safe. But if for any reason you no longer can work or you loose belief your dead meat

Faith can't make you feel better. It's only placebo. Religion creates a fear, and then holds your emotions ransom.
"Hell is bad. If you don't believe in me and do as I say, you will go there."
So people become happy that they aren't going to hell. Religious people's only argument is "so where do you get your morals?" which is silly because it implies that religious people only have morals because they're afraid of going to hell. Take away hell and these people are the ones that will go around stealing and killing.
