my best friend told me recently that he likes me. i wasnt sure of my feelings at first coz i didn't want to rush into anything and put the friendship at risk so i didnt say how i felt either way. since then our friendship has changed and he is very affectionate towards me and now i feel the same way and want to tell him. the problem is he is now interested in another girl he just met. they are just dating but he told his friends he really likes her yet he is still showing interest in me (mainly when its just the two of us). but when she is around he just hangs out with her and doesnt bother with me at all. i'm not sure now if i should still tell him how i feel or if i have left it too late? thoughts??

this is just a thought. but do you think that maybe the reason that you are now having feelings for him is that his attention and affection is turned towards someone else?

he might just be dating her to make you jealous too.
it's hard to say.
but before you step in and change that friendship. you need to be somewhat certain of your feelings.
i am glad that from the beginning you admitted that you were afraid of risking the friendship.
that shows so much.
i am not sure that i would know what to do in your situation.
but like i said. think about the reason that you changed your way of thinking. and make sure that it is not because you are afraid of losing the attention to someone else.

Just ignore him...it might be a bit too late for you to confess... it seems that he doesn't mean what he says when he told you that he likes you...Usually a mature man and a man who really likes a girl will wait for the girl's answer before he shows interest in other girls...he may just get too tired waiting for your respond...or he finds that you aren't interested in him at all by putting him on hold...well some guys like it hot whilst others may like it cold...in your case, he wants it hot but he doesn't get a respond from you when he's hot all over for you...tell him only if he comes to you...be smart

It's not too late, tell him how you feel. If he is a true friend you'll be fine. Don't live wondering about "might have beens" and "if onlys" Trust me, I have missed so many chances and still wish I had opened up.

Tell him. What are you waiting for.
What is life without risks?
Are you not going to leave your house and not drive because people die in accidents.
You may loose a friends, but find a love.
Don`t even wait.

Tell him. It might not be to late. At least if you say something now you wont regret staying silent for the rest of your life.

i would let it play out between him and the other girl first before I said anything to him. It might be better to just continue being his good friend.

na , just tell him and i think that he will like u the most..bkoz when he had told u that he likes u, he was expecting an ans and u didnt give him any..so as boys cant live without girls , he is flirting wiz her just to get smething out of her. remember that that it was u that he liked the first.

No, don't confess your feelings if u don't want to lose a good friend. IMHO your friend, who "loves" two girls, is more confused than u
