Ever hear of snake oil and the selling of bridges that don't exsist? Real Christians know the difference and there is nothing that can separate any of us from the love of God. Look at the good Christianity Has done, don't dwell on a few that may or may not be true in Your eyes. that is God's own judgement call...In fact there are a couple charlatans of mentioned in the New Testament and some in the Old Testament that just took religion and tried to belittled the ministry of Jesus and true believers. There is nothing New about it! Jesus also warned believes not to be decieved and demanding miracles too! Matthew 24:24
Example: The sons of Sceva..and the outcome was not good for them in Acts 19:14-16, even the Devil knows the difference! Jesus and the money changers John 2:14-16 ..Moses was opposed by chalatans in Exodus 32:25 and Numbers 10:35..what else? Believers are not stupid morons.

A "true" Christian will not gain respect by disrespecting another religion. Yes, I do agree that the Catholic Church is an ostentatious display of wealth because a lot of people are under the impression that they can "buy off" their sins. Most people don't even realize that the Catholic Church is the richest and most powerful organization in the world. It is written in God's Holy Book that for the love of money is the rude of all evil and what good is it to acquire the world but lose your soul. If I had all the money in the world I would give it away---what good is going to do me? I believe in direct "tithing". If it makes you feel any better, the Pope was coming to visit our city-San Antonio-several years ago and we were building an expensive stage set-up, not to mention the millions that were prepared to offer money they really didn't have. I prayed and concentrated very hard and mysteriously, a strong wind came and demolished the scene. The Pope did not come after all. Bad ***, huh?! No pun intended, but one of my nicknames is Mr. Breeze.

They are insane, they think they are respected within their beliefs and the end of the world is coming and they will all go to heaven so why bother.
Jesus will return after a thousand years. Well two thousand have gone by and nothing, now there are some starting up again saying the end is coming in the next 20-30 years etc etc. They cant fix a date as they cant make an appointment with God. What use is the pope then. Oh he gets the tourists to go to the Vatican and donate money so he and his friends can fly around the world preaching to the needy. And nothing changes.

Aren't those whom you had mentioned are Christians too? Aren't they doing good for Christianity too? Isn't that what was good a long, long time ago?
I could only guess that why Christianity is losing respect is because of its followers lacking in practice itself. I find a lot of educated Christians behaving and talking trash about the Bible as if non believers don't know anything.
Many Christians aren't of good examples themselves and they can't be singled out for the cause of your question. Ask yourself how many of them actually remember the Commandments and observe them in their daily life today?
If Christians could come together and work for the benefit of society (rather than just each domination and church/group/leaders), they could come with understanding with non-believers too with why they have decided to remain in their own respective religion and with their reasons not to convert.

i agree wtih you..except fo the end of the world thing...jesus is just coming to destroy the works of evil, which include what you are complaining about.
you cannot stop people from telling lies. and stupid people from believing them....
I have tried to complain about these things.. and got shunned in everyplace i went to complain....I was told i was a "whiner" and a negative thinker. I was told to repent.
Jesus predicted that there would be many that would use his name falsely and he would reject them. You are getting a good view of this now. The real christianity is not found in a church building anymore.... the faithful remnant left already or will leave soon

It is like trying to prove the existence of color to the color blind. Once a person accepts cnn or fox news as reality, it is very difficult to talk to them about the unseen realities of a loving God. Evidence is anecdotal and puzzling. If one tries to force God into a particular political mold or to prove God's existence by saying "Look God so loved the world he gave us his only begotten son!" People of the scientific/political-only schools come back with "What about Chernobyl?" And then the discussion spirals into a meaningless dualistic back and forth. As a former skeptic in the reality of Christ, The Heisenenberg Uncertainty Principle basically proved the probability of God to me. The uncertainty theory is fairly complex but it boils down to this for me. The observer changes the outcome of the experiment. Only in a universe with a God making sure everything works out can such a preposterous scientific reality exist. Since the virtual gods of science are measurability and repeatability, and the existence of Heisenberg's theory says:" No experiment is fully repeatable nor fully measurable." Faith in something we cannot see, is our only viable solution. The problem comes when a group of people try to use God as a political pry bar. This is human folly. Generally history is full of examples of humans being burned for trying to use God as a tool. My suggestion is to stop following the news for a month and spend more time by reading the bible and researching the events chronicled in the bible. Once you start to see the patterns of man's mistakes and God's interventions for those mistakes. Cnn and fox news start to look like the funny pages and the funny pages start to look like inspired religious tracts.

Satan the book of Revelation is a time of judgement for you and your devils. Repent.
The Roman Catholic Church murdered the true believers of Jesus Christ.
Jesus never relied on money in fact he stood against it. We can't change this satanic religious system all we offer that by the grace of God that you too could be saved.
Judgement day is coming for the wicked.
