Deciduous; the opposite would be an evergreen. Most broadleaved trees are deciduous but some such as privet and laurels are evergreen. Most conifers are evergreen but some are deciduous including larch.

Deciduous is correct, but even Evergreens do lose their leaves-- they just replace them w/ new growth and don't go through that "bald" period...
