NO WAY! I say go for it! I started cosmetology school recently...and I love it. I've been in the industry for quite a while (managed a salon and have two stylists in the family). There are people of all ages that are in cos. school. My boss did his training in his mid 30s and has had a good 20 years behind the chair, so far. I wish you luck!
Plus, if you're able to go full time, you can be done in 9 months!!

No, I Have Seen People Go Through College For 10 Years When They Turned 50 Or So.... Being 30 Isn't A Very Old Age To Be Pulling Back On Your Dreams. :)

30 is not too late to start training. If you have the interest and desire in cosmetology, I would say go for it.
