For all the above only one answer. That is one has to keep some priority to his life. You work for yourself, you earn for your own existence and you value your time which is more than moeny. Naturally, when priorities on that day, date are before you, you give a decisive answer and say NO to the particular person on that particular situation. It is not that one asked or one helped or one is our Emploher or one is a friend or a relative. Beyond all things, your decision for achieving a right cause in your life for reaching goal is more important and then 'NO' can be told with firm positive thinking and do not get disturbed yourself for doing that type.

If somebody surprises you by a request like any of those you will need time to think and refuse. Try to have some responds ready. If a salesman pushes me to buy something i answer with I have a similar one. this not offending, it is short and it makes him stop. When somebody asks me to join at a party and I am not interested I say but i have an engagement, or will be out of town. I would prepare answers like that for the situations you usually encounter. If Mr X is an important person then find things like taking your mother to the doctor or you promised kids to take them out. Most importantly is to be ready with an answer so that you don't start looking for one.

If "Mr.X" isn't your direct supervisor and or is from another dept. although working for the same company; you can either direct him/her to the person responsible for that task as you are currently completing tasks from your own supervisor. If you answer to Mr. X then you need to say, "yes, I will get to it as soon as I have finished my current work load."

Dear Mr. X right now I'm in an important duty asigned to me by (his frien, brother, sister, what ever), but if please you let me finish it I'll be completaely off to take care of the instructions you gave with the important time they need to fulfill your duty, thank you very much for your understanding.
Sorry, this's to hard for me, I would better take a little effort rasing my middle finger up to "Mr. X"

1. I regret and I am not interested in doing this as it may not satisfy you.
2. Sure I will do it, but can you allow me to complete after few hours!
3, If you permit me, I will complete your job after I finish this one as at the moment I am involved in this hectically
Polite words always carry correct responses.

Just tell him/her that do not like to deny his/her demand..... Even not being possible, you wished to follow the request asked for...... Let them know, even after saying YES, it would not be possible..... They will automatically understand the remaining half part of your answer.
But never tell clear Yes to do the work and afterwards ignore to do, will give a bad message.

for starters u have got to b strong and let noone have u bow down to everything--only then they will learn to respect u--each time u give in--ur just giving them room to compress u again and again--then ur not getting a life and u will always b a doormat--u want it like that--say in a polite but firm way--i would love to do that but i m afraid i dont have the time--may be next time if i had more free time i would surely do it-forgive me

You can say, "Of course Mr. 'X', as soon as I am free", and whenever he comes and inquire, pretend you are very busy. But to your boss? After all 'X' is your boss so show him your honest account of work. What else?
