I see where ur comin from. I started "searching" for God when i was 12 year old. I still did not find any reliable evidence that indicates the presence of god. So while searching for the truth, i couldn't find God.

HOWEVER, I believe in the existence of god because i need the system god provides, i like thinking that one must naturally do good deeds to be rewarded, i like to think that justice will be eventually realized.

You see, I have no clue whether god exists or not, but i need him.

I believe some will arrive at atheism. Many will in fact arrive at atheism, others who are looking for the truth will eventually, arrive at Neo-Paganism, Wicca, Buddhism, Hinduism, Neo-Nazism.... or the hundred and even thousands of other options. In my belief none of those provide the truth. Glimpses perhaps, but still the wrong path leading to the wrong conclusion.
I believe that Jesus Christ alone is the Truth.

What if the truth comes to you, and it isn't atheism?
Some people believe that there is more to life because something specific has happened to them. I'll give you an example. I was washing the dishes while my baby son played in his indoor swing. Suddenly I was moved across the room and my hand was moved out to shoulder height. The hook holding the swing snapped in half and ithe ropes fell into my waiting hands. It would have fallen on my son, perhaps killing him.
Now I know I'm not a liar, I know it happened. I'm not mad nor am I delusional. Because it didn't happen to you, you won't believe it. But it happened to me, therefore I cannot deny it.
So what is this truth?

Actually, it takes more faith to believe there was no Designer of the Universe! You have to look at the inner workings of the things in and around you to grasp that concept. In other words an open mind and heart.

Images or connotations about the self change over time.Technology changes and is sometimes flawed as is our scientific and medical theories or beliefs. Atheism is a religion as defined by Webster's dictionary with a set of beliefs or values.

Question is, what proof do you have to prove that God does not exist and how? How do you know what truth is and how is it defined and by whom? Or is everything simply relative and compared to what? Is God constant? How do you know or not know Him?

And I believe if you look for the truth, and keep looking you will eventually come to God.

I have been down the atheism road, and several others for that matter, but eventually came to God.

Most psychiartric patient claim that they are normal and conclude the challenger "mentally disturbed". Funny isn't it?

Most of the time when you search for the truth with the fixed mind and ideas of life you will either remain in atheism or end up in to atheism, so it doesn't mean that you found the truth.

Relax your mind, just think that you are a child and accept the truth of God, you will find God and His wonderfull creation. then you wont wast a bit of time from praising Him.

God Bless you.

I agree. All religions are merely a mythology to explain things that confound humans. Christianity, especially, becomes more and more ridiculous as time passes, science advances, and we learn more about the age and creation of the Earth.

I don't think atheism has the "answer", but it has the best observation. Deductive reasoning, and logic, are the foundation for the understanding anything.

No, not really.
I believe that when you come to truth it is not really a concern whether or not there is a god or gods. When you come to truth, you only know... What do you know? That, in fact, there is a god or gods given there is a sincere belief that there is a god or gods.

And there's a scary monster under your bed too when you believe it. And other people exist if you believe that.

What do you believe?

I think Atheism is great for some people. I found my Truth in Jesus Christ.
