Bad nail filing or very dry skin can cause Hang nails to appear, also if you work with harsh chemicals. Best way to treat them is delicately! Put a good skin cream on the area.

When you cut your nails, be SURE to cut the edges on a slant! When you cut everything straight across, the edge is like a scissor.
