Then you better have your pastor or priest pray for you. The Lord, The Son and the Holy Spirit will NEVER control your actions as they have given you the Divine Gift of Free Will. If they can arrest your will, they would have forcefully done so from the time of Adam and Eve. You could be spiritually polluted due to lack of commitment and faith to Jesus.

If a "Spirit" controls you that you are not allowed to do something, its probably not the spirit of the Holy variety, as the Holy Spirit would always give you the choice to commit or not to commit an act, be it benevolent OR Malevolent.

A Christian should be able to read ANYTHING. There are protected from Spiritual Pollution by the Blood of the Holy Jesus that you have asked for WHEN you were born again... Any doubt in its protective qualities is not the lack of power in Christ's Blood, but the lack of trust and faith on your part.

If faith is truly in you, reading ANYTHING good or evil will not move your heart away from God, but instead, strengthen your resolve and your faith that Jesus... IS the inspired True path for YOU as no others can inspire you as such.

sure, i've got study the Quran. you do no longer are attentive to it properly. you're making it to be nicer than that's. The section approximately no %. being in place is fake, as allah says some circumstances that he enables the dissolution of pacts/oaths: Qur'an (9:3) - "...Allah and His Messenger are loose from legal duty to the idolaters..." Qur'an (sixty six:2) - "Allah has already ordained for you, (O adult men), the dissolution of your oaths" The seventy two virgins comes from a hadith, which maximum individuals say is susceptible. that would not quit the actuality that there are houris, perpetual virgins and boys like pearls, a industry the place you may bypass and get which ever one you opt for. The Islamic paradise isn't something yet a celestrial brothel. in case you enable for the abrogation that exists interior the Quran, then the effective stuff has been rendered null and void by way of the intolerance, hate and violence that comes after it. You do recognize the Quran isn't in chronological order, perfect? You do recognize approximately abrogation? attempt examining it so as of revelation to confirm the replace in allah and what he enables Mo and Muslims to do. it rather is greater elementary and traumatic that way.

Ask yourself why you want to read the Quran. And why this has become an issue for you. Are you onterested in the islamic faith? do you want to gain first hand knowledge before you witness to a muslim friend? Or are you trying to get a pretty muslim girl to convert so you can marry her? Ha ha ha.

If you feel that the Spirit of God is in any way disuading you from reading the Quran. Don't read it.

Delusions in your head often won't allow you to do things that would disprove them. Simply because a person cannot let go of the the delusion for fear of what it might mean. You cannot read any other religious book, because you are afraid that someone else might be right.

I don’t care what you think, sir, God’s not a fan of willful ignorance.

I read a good part of it, because I figure it’s best to choose to disagree with something after you know what it is. Otherwise you’re being silly, judgmental, and closed-minded.

I assure you it didn’t convert me. Anything that helps me understand my fellow human beings better is useful, however.

"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and of a sound mind."

Don't fear knowledge. Embrace it, use it.

It all depends on you! I am a born Roman Catholic and I read the Qu'ran. I am also a Muslim now.
It is all inside of you. You can read the Qu'ran even if you don't want to become Muslim, as in just to know about it... I have read the Bible, Qu'ran and even the Hindu Geeta and I made my choice of path.
God bless you and hope you find your right one!

Anyone can read the Quran. Now we have translations in all the world languages. You can start reading it to find fault in it. Finally you will end up as a muslim if you obey your inner mind while reading it.

[17:45] When you read the Quran, we place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible barrier.

Quran: The ONLY Source

[17:46] We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran alone, they run away in aversion.

[17:47] We are fully aware of what they hear, when they listen to you, and when they conspire secretly - the disbelievers say, "You are following a crazy man."

[17:48] Note how they describe you, and how this causes them to stray off the path.

[17:49] They said, "After we turn into bones and fragments, we get resurrected anew?!"

[17:50] Say, "Even if you turn into rocks or iron.

[17:51] "Even if you turn into any kind of creation that you deem impossible." They will then say, "Who will bring us back?" Say, "The One who created you in the first place." They will then shake their heads and say, "When will that be?" Say, "It may be closer than you think."

[17:52] The day He summons you, you will respond by praising Him, and you will then realize that you had lasted in this life but a short while.
