I don't get it, I guess I find myself somewhat attractive but why are girls intimidated by me. I'm 19 years old and It's weird because I really don't date that much or dated in High School. While in high school, as my friends went through relationships and dates in high school and all the drama, I would stay low and observe things, because it interested me how girls and guys behave but mostly the girls behaviors. Yet I'm 19 I know how girls think, feel, and behave, but yet girls are so shy around me,It's hard for me to have a serious relationship. Or some girls think I'm to good to be true, but I'm not. I don't blame them, I think its the American culture thats gotten all the poor women in this country so skeptical about every guy that approaches them. I guess because there are a lot of weirdo's out their to watch out for, but how can I show them that I am what I am, and that I'm not like other typical guys who will dump them after a few months.

i know what you are talking about. i can think of a couple guys that intimidate me like that and i am usually a very confident person. they are attractive & stylish & seem to be nice, too, but something about them makes me really nervous around them. try to make yourself more approachable. like, smile a lot & talk to people, so girls feel more comfortable talking to you & i guess see that you're not so "scary" after all, lol.

Well, I can sort of feel what you are going through. But maybe the girls have an idea that YOU do know how girls think, feel, behave etc. Personally speaking, it can be very intimidating for us girls to be around a guy who knows what we're thinking! You gotta show the girls that they are indeed mysterious to you (trust me, we are! hehe)

Oh and about showing them how nice you are, I really think they do know that! Dont try to prove things to anybody. Just keep being the nice person that you are without letting them walk all over you. However, if the topic does come up in the conversation, you can easily try to convince the girls that one bad experience does not mean all boys are bad.

Too bad you did not list your im/email. I actually wanted to speak with you about it! :-)

Good luck!

good looking men and woman have the same problem.
Women are too scared to approach good looking guys because they think they aren't pretty enough, popular, smart enough and so on.
You my friend have to take the lead and be a man and step up to the plate.
If ever you listen to interviews of beautiful woman particularly models, they rarely went out on dates or they were lonely because they intimidated people
Break the mould, and be grateful that you aren't ugly

Thats a good start. Girls act shy around you it's because they think you are mysterious or they have a crush on you. Seems that you're a reasonable guy to be friends with. You would find a perfect girl since you know how to observe people. Take your time. Don't rush to find a good gf.

If a girl is intimidated by you, that's her issues with insecurities. Keep holding your head up high...sooner or later, you'll find somebody who will genuinely appreciate your self-confidence. :)... if girls cannot appreciate you for being nice, it's their loss, not yours!

They're not intimidated. They just don't like you.

You might lack some self esteem on the inside and they can sense it from your body language. Girls can tell those type of things.
