Is she running a temperature?
I have a 3 y/o also and if he had those symptoms I would call the Dr. just to be on the safe side. Which I am known to over react too. But I think sometimes it's best to over react then not react at all. I hope she feel's better soon. Good Luck

If she has been vomiting for over 24 hours then I would phone the doctor, does the head ache go after the calpol ? If she has been like this for over 24 hours, phone the doctor.

Well, first of all, sorry for your daughter. Secondly, watch her progress for the next few minutes, 30 the most. If no improvement, either call a doctor or take her to the nearest clinic or hospital.
Its quite possible a question of food poisoning. Vormiting will help to clear the causes. Give her some water to drink, too. Its good for the system.
All the best!/

It's so bad these days how we feel we should stick out pain..or watch others in pain/sickness because we are afraid of "annoying doctors"...they are there to help, no matter if they like it or not! You are not over reacting you are being a good, careful mother and want whats best for your child and it's not easy watching them being sick. Having a sore head as well as vomitting is enough to take her straight to the doctors..it maybe nothing to worry about but why not put your mind at rest and help your little girl! Doctors are supposed to be there to even just talk to about worries/problems..they often aren't but she is sick, so please go...don't wait another hour because, why should you!
Best of luck and i hope your little girl gets better soon...you are being a good mum, there's no such thing as being over careful were a child's health is at play!

Trust your maternal instincts. If you're not sure see a Doctor as soon as possible. If all is okay - well that's fine, but if there is a problem you are at the right place.
If it's 'after hours' many hospitals now have GP 'after hour' services which is an alternative to emergency dept.

First of all, call the hospital first and ask.
Secondly, give her Motrin or a Children's ibuprofen in the recommended dose for her age and weight.
Take her in to the ER if the temperature doesn't go down.

Call the doctor ASAP. It isn't over reacting, it is being a good mum.
Better to be safe than sorry.
