I need a second car for gas mileage.I used to own a 99 nissan & it got between 30 & 35 mpg.Kelly blue book lists it at 32 to 3450.Kinda high but so is gas.I know I can drive my Mustang a long time with the money spent on another car but I'm trying to keep miles down on it.

Yeah, The Sentra i think would do you good,

two of my friends have them one is a 02 and the other a 04, both use the same 1.8 L engine and although not a quick mover, it definitely gets around.

Gas prices are hurting everyone even with a small V6's.

The 1999 your looking at uses a 1.6L 4cyl engine.

Best wishes,

I've owned a 1985, 2002, and 2004 Sentra and they have all been reliable. I ran the 1985 Sentra until I pulled it into the junk yard with 215,000 miles on it. I started experiencing some electrical problems and the frame was starting to go after 13 years of use. My 2002 Sentra was traded for a 2006 Altima and I still have the 2004 Sentra. The Sentra isn't a flashy car but it has a lot of power for that class of car and with my driving on back roads to/from work, I regularly average around 33 MPG. As long as the car seems free from major defects, it sounds like the car would be worth purchasing, especially if you just want something for commuting. I don't know if the price is high/low but as you said, KBB gave you a rate and it probably is close.

No is my first answer. till it is totally loaded and in surprising indoors and outdoors situation, a 1999 sentra with 120000 miles could have been approximately 4 Grand in super shape. Its a sturdy motor vehicle, very stable, yet for 5 grand you have got got here upon a 2001 or maybe a 1999 Altima could have been stable for 5 grand. Sorry if the documents is complicated for you whether it is authentic.
