Talk to her. She feels distant because you weren't being yourself. Ask her if there is anything that might help. Sometimes spending some time together can help like going away for a weekend or out on a nice romantic date, even a walk in the country. But sometimes that can feel suffocating if you feel a bit odd. maybe sugest one of these to her and see what she says.

So let me get this straight, she breaks this devasting news to you and then tells you to sit tight while she makes her mind up. Personally, this would make me feel highly insecure and my mind would running riot - that then puts you on the back foot which is not a good place to be. Be careful, hold back, I can understand that you may not want to finish the relationship yet but in the meantime, start going out with your friends more, pull back a bit.

Maybe you should have a break not like splitting up just give it week or so without seeing each other, maybe give each other time to figure out what you really want and to sort your thoughts out, I'm sure she'll realise how much she needs you, just make sure you don't get paranoid again and try not to scare her,
Your lucky to have someone love you, Good Luck x

If she is confident this is just a lttle blip then you need to give her a bit of time, but just be normal with her and dont back her into a corner demanding to know if her feelings have returned though. having said that, i think you have to look out for yourself and not be a mug, if she doesnt treat you right and makes you feel insecure and unhappy because she's said this then i think you should keep your dignity and pride and walk away.good luck

Girls usually feel close to someone when they open up and share their hopes and dreams. So, don't be afraid to talk about yourself. Spend time with her, do something new and different with her (eg cooking class, rock climbing), and listen to what she is saying. All a girl really needs is someone to listen to her story, and give her feedback. Work towards a common goal - etc saving for a trip, training for a marathon.

give her the space and time she needs. but don't sit around waiting for her to make her mind up. My guess is when she sees you going out enjoying yourself with friends she will realise what she has got. We all need a kick up the *** some times but relationships have to be worked at and not expected to just go on.

Right now you need to sit tight , and by all means don't become paranoid .you are walking a thin line with this girl because she can hear what you say but she needs proof . So take you time showing her a little everyday .

Relax and see what happens. It's too early to tell. lf you freak out about it you might become paranoid again which will push her farther away and cause more damage to the relationship. Right not just relax and be the best boyfriend you can be.

Give her a chance. Sometimes Life throws things at you that take you off track for awhile. If you really love her, give her some space and a chance to reorganize herself so she can get back on track. Let her know you understand and that you are there for her.
