You're not overweight. If you did lose that much in a week, it would just be water weight. If you want to look better, try doing some exercises to give you more muscle tone. 'Shape' magazine is good for this if you can get it. Otherwise, try bodyweight exercises like pushups -- start with girls' pushups if you can't do regular pushups. Also do squats -- go to your couch and almost sit down, but stand up again just before your bottom touches the couch. If that's easy, do them super slowly. These exercises will help you look better without giving you too much muscle.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

It doesn't sound like you need to lose anything. Even if you did need to lose weight, 5 pounds in a week is a lot, almost a pound a day. Not a very realistic goal, unless you starve yourself, which is not healthy.
