Me, yes. I have no reason to believe in any God(s). Your inclusion of Buddhism is interesting because it does not need gods.

More an agnostic but, if born muslim, yes. I f born into hindu or buhhism, maybe. It is the religions like chrisitanity and Islam that require strict adherence to a self contradictory doctrin that first drove me away.
The idea of god is not inherently self-contradictory it is the idea of god as the christians or muslims draw him that makes no sense.
Yea, a loving god that has a hell? An Omnipotent god that needs to sacrifice himself so that he can do what he wants? I could go on and on.
The open ended nature of the other religions, while not proving them, does not prove them to be impossible.

I don't know.
If I were any of those religions, chances are I would have been born somewhere else to different parents, different opportunities, and a completely different life.
If the only thing that changed was the religion I was raised in - and all other things about my life and myself were the same, then yes, I would still be an atheist.

Yes. I was born an atheist and it is definitely right for me, but I'd much rather be a Hindu, Buddhist, or Muslim than a Christian.

That's assuming that personality would win out over environmental factors. I imagine you could do some study involving twins, but beyond that, it's hard to say.
That's a really interesting question: are religious tendencies hereditary or environmental? Certainly, most people belong to Religion X because their parents did also, but is there a common set of traits that tends to produce atheists from religious upbringings?

Yes, it wouldnt matter what religion I was born into. I believe in facts and reality that I have learnt at school through cience and through life. Not the teachings of 2000 year old books that have nothing to do with reality.

I'm not sure if I would be able to break free of the pressures in those religions and places to have a critical enough mind to become an atheist.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I would. I wasn't taught to be an Atheist, I became one all by myself. If Atheism had been required of me, things would be different. But this is a path I sought out myself.

most atheists are just skeptical by nature, so i would say yes. i'd be interested to see if christians here actually believe they wouldn't be Muslims if they were born and raised in an islamic society. i bet they would, but they wouldn't admit it.

If I weren't brainwashed into joining that religion by my surroundings, presumably yes, I would be an Atheist.
