I'm a girl, he's a guy. We both asked: Is it wrong to have sex on the first date? We just wanted to hear your guys response to people who have sex on 1st dates. Not that I was gonna do that. And peoples answered like I was dumb but why not on his? BTW, It was just a general question. I'm almost turning 30 and know my opinion on it but we were just curious.

No, DragonDave. We asked the same exact question cause we both discussed it before we asked it on yahooanswers to see how people would respond to his (a guy) and mine (a girl)

And to top it off, my friend even got a star to his question. So then, my question now is, why is it ok for a guy to have sex on first date?

It's always going to be a double standard. Men are usually encouraged to have sex while women are given the opposite advice. Fortunately for women this double standard is slowly changing but obviosly not fast enough. There's nothing wrong with knowing what you want and going for it. You're not a ho, or a slut, or whatever people are calling women these days for making adult decisions. I actually applaud a women who has the courage to say "to hell with what everybody else thinks" and actually persues whatever it is that makes them happy. I do feel that with any decision that has the power to change your life if done incorrectly should be carefully thought out. Nobody is exempt from personal resposibility male or female. The little "experiment" that you and your friend did is just a perfect example of how one sided people think. I wouldn't be surprised if the same people who painted a scarlet letter A on your back weren't the same people who praised the ground you friend walked on. Whatever the case, the bottom line is you have to do what makes you happy and let the rest of the world deal with their own issue. Great Question : )

A couple of reasons perhaps: 1st-maybe the two of you had asked the same question but in different ways (the wording of the questions might have been different) 2nd-perhaps the type of words used (you know, like using the "internet language" rather than real English spelling) 3rd-(and probably the closest truth) because most people are bias morons that just think that females are dumber than males and need to have a dumber answer just to make themselves feel smarter. Just my opinions, of course.

The only reason is that you are a girl and he is a guy...Its alright 4 a guy to have sex on the first date cuz thats pimpin...but its a hood rat thing if a girl has sex on the first date. Girls and guy expects the girls to be ladies, n if ur not a ladie your a slut. People probably thought that you were a slut 4 asking that question n thats y they thought you were dumb

because this is how most people view sex on the first date: if a guy scores on the first date, he is a king, but if a woman has sex on the first date, she's a slut. it's a dumb way of looking at it, and in my opinion sex is sex, and never to be had on the first date unless you've known each other for a long time...or if the date was really good.

Did you use the EXACT, same terms...or did you pose the question you each thought was approximately the same thing? Men tend to talk in more linear terms; women tend to embellish. Also, if people saw that it was a woman, they might attempt to warn you off the practice, thinking you are 'angelic' and naive, where as a man they tend to just treat as if he's a hopeless, sex-crazed mutt with no hope of redemption...lol

you realize in case you're gay. in case you have an interest in an identical intercourse then you certainly are gay. in case you're actually not then your no longer. in the adventure that your involved in the two you're bi. that's particularly straight forward. some human beings function play and do issues with an identical intercourse without ever being involved in them. Your buddy desires to ask there self what they're involved in and that they'll understand the respond

it all depends on you queen. its your life, if you find the person appropriate and feel like having sex with him on first date, you can have it. It has nothing to do with a girl or a guy.
