The 4 things that you shouldn't skimp on are the food, the alcohol, the photographer and the entertainment ... go for a full sit down dinner with an open bar and a band instead of a DJ. You should also LOVE the photographer's work since those are going to be lasting memories of your wedding. Everything else can afford to be less expensive.

I would say a happy couple and an appropriate band/dj. Older crowds quiter music more time to mingle. Younger groups louder music bigger dance floor. I think its always a big mistake not to invite children they steal the day but, it is so cute.

Bring in ur very child hood friends.. from 1st grade if u have contacts or try to find out.... and even make ur patner to do so... u will be the happiest person.. more the people more the happiness...even bring in ur teachers
