They do work but needs lots of work though. You gotta give time for it to work.
1) communicate with him alot (chatting, texting, calling)
2) b honest n open
3) eventhough you r away physically, both your heart can be close..i mean you have to share your problems, emotions, love

No, its not gonna work especially if you guys live too far from each other, unless one of you make an effort to go see each other. Trust is a problem in these long distance relationships, its hard to know what you bf is actually doing since you dont see him. If you think you and your bf have a good realtionship that would last for a long time, then stay with him.

It depends on the people involved.

But a majority probably don't. We're all human and if you don't see the person there is a higher tendancy of breaking away from the relationship. I'm not saying cheating necessarily but being interested in others since you're not near your significant other.

It's harder for sure. If you're willing to work at it and make some sacrifices, its doable.

i think if u really think it will work you should. but i have had a long-distance relationship and i had no choice but to break it off b/c in the end it will hurt both of you b/c it will make you upset you wont ever get to see him. and unless u are possitive he is some1 you wanna spend your whole life with then you should just say i wanna just stay good friends ok?

long distance rarely, if ever, works. either get together(as in closer) or break up, because the longer you prolong a long distance, the more the end will hurt.

If you do not know if you should stay, there are larger issues than long distance. You're just not into him anymore.

depends on your ages, and how far apart you are. most of the time, unfortunately, they don't work out, but everyone is different. try it, see how it goes.
