I like white guys and have dated them before, but they seem very reluctant to approach me.

EDIT: I'm talking about the white guys that HAVE and DO find me attractive, which has seemed to be a lot.

Unfortunately, racism and culture on both sides are the culprit.
I am a white guy and I would not have any problems dating a black woman as long as she was interested.
Look at all the black guys that date white women !!! Why is that? They don't care what people think.
White guys should take the same approach. Color means NOTHING!!! It only means something if there are prejudices.
Women of every race are beautiful. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

I find some black women to be just as attractive as white women. Namely, I like the ones with a lean petite body type (like I look for in all races, actually). I can't think of any black women in the public eye like this off the top of my head, except for a couple of reporters on the local news here. You wouldn't know them. Why are white guys afraid to approach black women? Well, some are afraid because they just don't like black women, or are afraid that their families will disapprove. Some are afraid that those black women prefer black guys over white guys and don't want to be embarrassed. If you notice a white guy that seems to like you and you like him too, you should probably ask him out because that fear of rejection could be keeping him away. Good night!

the way i see it, "white guys" is an extremely general term.. you know how many type of white guys there is? you shouldn't sterotype men like that. I'm sure there is a white guy that doesn't give a crap and would just approach you any ways, and some other white guys would be scared or some that are not interested in you it's all just personal preferences..
also "black women" is another very general term. even though black people is minority there's still many different types of black women. You can't say all black women are the same, neither can you say all white men are the same. If you wanna critisize something like that it should be done for individuals.

I am white but i feel more uncomfortable approaching white women since i have dated mostly black women. My wife is black and when i was single i didn't hesitate to approach a black woman. But , overall, white guys are usually intimidated by black women...to be honest.

Depends on the man and the woman.I'm black and I've been attracted to several white guys(all my relationships have been with white guys)..I don't make those kind of differences.If a white guy is afraid to come up to you because of the color ofyour skin..he's ignorant and I wouldn't want to be bothered with him anyway.What else does he think about you based on your skin tone?You know?

They might be intimidated by attractive women. If something seems out of reach pretend like you did not want it to begin with instead of getting laughed at for a failed attempt.

White guys arent affraid to approach black women, theyre just smart enough to stay away.
No joking aside, it could just be preference? or the stereo types of black women, being crazy like a women but 10 times worse.
Personally I find light skinned black women sexy as ****, but I'll for the most part pass on the tire colored black women.
Damn I love that caramel color.

most white guys would date more black women but they are afraid of what there moms, dads, relatives..and yes even their good friends would think...we are all not free thinkers and sad to say we let cetain people mold our lives..its not fair or even right..its just the way things are...but they are changing gradually...but now fast enough...

Perhaps these white guys don't find you attractive. It's not easy to approach people of a different race, you never know how they're going to react or whether they speak English or how those around you will react.
