As far as losing weight, there are many many diet fads and gimmicks out there, depending on how much or how little to lose. However, losing weight doesn't make you "look smart!" If you are speaking of smart on an intellectual level! If you are speaking of smart as in dressing "snappy"! Then ok, maybe losing a bit of wobblies is the answer (assuming you have them)! Work out, decrease your carb intake and eat more protein. Decrease your fat intake and drink lots and lots of water! If you are meaning to look smart, as in intelligence, everyone has their own ideas as to what smart looks like. But.......I don't view someone as "looking smart", they have to BE smart and smart people come in all different shapes, sizes, colors and sexes! Looking smart is superficial and if someone is not smart (not saying that you're not) everyone can tell as soon as they open their mouth! Don't know if this helps, hope it does. Good luck.

wanna lose weight?
wel the answer is staring u in the face- excercize(it not only helps u to lose weight but also make u feel good)a healthy brisk walk and jog in the morning makes u feel good throughout the day.also some yogic excercises like "kapal bhati" and "pranayam" do wonders.the more you sweat the more you lose. also have a glass of lemon juice everyday but instead of cold water, add lukewrm water. and instead of using suger use a teaspoon of honey. they burn calories like crazy.
and u know the rules- not too many sweets and oily stuff.
minimize that in your diet and eat more healthy stuff.
ok the smart part-
u have to be smart to look smart dear

Seek the advise of a physician. Only your doctor can say if you need to lose weight, and how much if you do. Then the doctor should send you to a nutritionist who can help you design a healthy diet for you. I did not do this, and made up my own diet. I lost the weight, but became very ill. It took 10 years for me to get back to better health after what I did. Don't you do that.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

My mother-in-law lost over 100lbs in 3-4 months on Nutri-system, they mail you the food, it cost about 10.00 a day. She says that they send you more food than you can possibly eat. I can't fouch for the taste though. My mother-in-law is not a good cook, but the food didn't bother her. She learned how and what to eat while on the diet. Now she prepares the food at home according to what she learned. She really looks amazing now that she has lost all of that weight.
