Most states require you to wear your license visibly. If you don't, you probably won't get a large fine if any at all. It depends on how good of a mood the game warden is in that day. If you have a license, then there is no reason not to wear it visibly... it will save you a headache and possibly money.

Depends on where you are at. Most Midwest states do not have that requirement. I've fished Florida too and don't recall that above your waist is required.

i dont know where u might have heard that from? one thing i know for sure is you better have it on your person or in your tackle box while fishing cause the game warden will take all your fishing gear if caught fishing without it.

yes u must tape ur fishing license to ur forehead so it can be seen upon approachment by the game warden

I think if you don't wear your license so it's visible you get a big fat fine if your caught. Unless, of course you can talk your way out of it.

You bet, in CA., one has ta' wear it so D.F.& G (Deptartment of Fish & Game) can see it. CA., says pinned to hat or around neck. If ya' don't wear it in this manner, one can expect some kind of a fine...
