Is it weird for someone to be 12 years old and still wear diapers 24/7 and sit in a carseat? Because thats what I have to do.

A twelve-year old shouldn't have to wear diapers; you should be able to control yourself. Do you wear them because you sometimes have accidents, or are your parents just weird?

If you sometimes have accidents, you should be seeing a doctor. If you are not, discuss this with your parents.

If you have no bladder control issues, you should discuss the situation with a teacher, school counselor, school nurse, or other responsible adult. It would be a case of child abuse.

Carseats are designed for small children, that is those under a certain height (I think up to 4'8"). Their use does not depend upon the age of the child. If you are taller than 4'8", you should not be using a carseat. If your parents insist you do, this is another example of child abuse.

No it is not weird for a 12 year old to wear diapers and still sit in a car seat if you are somehow disable then you ought to be proud of yourself for who you are, and not worried about what others think or say about you, no one can see you wear diapers so how would they know if you have them on?

There are people much older than you are that are wearing diapers and many of them have jobs...it is nothing to be ashamed about if you are disable in some form or another (also meaning medical problems), alot of people has problems that no one can see.

have you had your child checked out by a dr? I have a 7yr old that I put pullups on at night just in case he has a accident because he does off and on but a 12 yr old should be in panties and in a seatbelt by now---unless there are pychological problems then take the child to a play therapist--they do wonders on certain problems. is this "have to" because you have no bladder control or because you're forced to? i'd definitely run away from home if i were 12 & being forced to wear diapers & sit in a carseat.

Just be yourself. If you need to wear them then do so until you wean out of it. Dont be worried what others feel coz we cannot see you wearing them. If its a medical problem then you got to fix it by checking with the doc. If its coz you cannot stop then use it until you can. Dont be bothered about what others say. As long as you can afford them and wear them do it.
