I exercise/workout on a regular basis. Are "French Press" & "Triceps Extensions" (with barbell) good enough for the triceps? I think "Dumbell Kickbacks" are good for tricep definition/cuts ?!! Please suggest.........

They're all fine. The important thing is that you go to failure with a weight within 8-12 reps (or possibly sometimes six reps with heavy weight once a week). Do no more than three sets of one exercise, maybe once or twice a week. Otherwise, you are overtraining and will get smaller. Mix up the exercises so your body doesn't adjust. Remember, you work the triceps with lots of other exercises, too, so it's not just this one exercise.

There is no single exercise that is "the best." A few few pointers:

* Because triceps are paired with biceps, don't overwork the triceps without also working the biceps or you can create an imbalance
* Periodize your training - in other words, don't stick to a fixed rep range but change it over time
* Focus on compound movements for building your base, then isolation movements later in the training cycle

Some great base-builders for triceps are dips and narrow-grip bench press. Rope push-downs are also fantastic for this.

Isolation exercises range from skull-crushers and extensions to kickbacks.

If you're goal is overall arm development, try this routine on for size:
