I lost 92 lbs. in 7 months. Don't compare your weight loss to men's. They always lose faster than us gals. I joined Overeaters Anonymous and went on its "gray sheet diet." Mostly they don't recommend diets but this was their original one. After 30 days I went on what they call the "blue sheet diet." Both plans were very low carbs but not as low as the Atkins diet. Call the local OA intergroup office and see if you can purchase the plans or find some meetings. It is a program patterned after AA so non-profit. None of their literature is expensive.
