Lemon juice can be used very effectively to clear spots and shaver-rash and similar kind of problems. It doesn't seem to work for insect bites. Here are some directions for using it. This is best done somewhere where the lemon juice won't go on anything valuable and delicate (bathroom, kitchen), because the acid can damage photos or other delicates.

This technique can be done as a "repairer" (after you notice you have these skin problems), or a "preventer" (as a habit for people who are prone to spots).

Make sure your skin is washed clean and free of grease or other debris.
Get a fresh lemon, and peel it like you'd peel an orange.
Remove a segment, without breaking the other segments, just like you can do with oranges. This lets you reuse the other segments for other days.
Break and crush the segment, and wipe the liquid onto your skin. (It may sting!)
If you have quite bad skin problems (very inflamed and red), gently rub the lemon juice in, making sure you don't hurt your skin. If you hurt your skin by pressing too hard, then you could be making your skin worse.
Let the lemon juice dry. Leave it on. If you put makeup on, its best to put the make up on after the lemon juice! Leave the juice there for the whole day, or overnight. (There shouldn't be any visible difference! Its a non-sugary liquid, unlike orange juice).
If you have a very inflamed skin, then you should do this twice a day. Once in the morning, and once before sleep. Make sure you wash your skin before each time you put it on! If its not so bad, then once a day is OK.

about the hydrogen peroxide in the soap u are using,

Hydrogen peroxide is an irritant of the eyes, mucous membranes, and skin. if the skin is not washed promptly, redness and blisters may develop

well you might wanna try proactiv...

1. Buy some moisturizer. This can help with the dry skin problem.

2. You are getting zits becasue, well, your a teen lol. I'm 15, and a sure-fire way to get rid of zits is to scrub (but not too hard) your face with a hot wet washcloth. Then, get some liquid soap (like the kind you use to wash your hands) and rub it on your face, with no washcloth. Then, rinse that by scrubbing again (but not too hard, bad experience with that.) and getting most of the soap "away". This is really just putting the soap in your skin, clearing your pores. Then, use an acne pad, such as oxy or stridex. The ones with aloe work best, in my opinion.

I have been doing that for the past 3 weeks, and i have virtually no zits. One or two may appear once in a while, but they will be small ones. Nothing for your special someone to notice ;)

Sorry about your skin problem. Lemon juice can be good, but it is not for everyone. Lemon juice can also dry your skin out too. Seems to me that you have really bad acne. That soap that you are using stop using it. Go to a dermatologist and get them to prescribe something for you. A dermatologist who specializes in your problem is the best person to go to. People her will tell you to try this and that. But honey it might work for them, but not for you. So invest your time and money in a dermatologist you won't regret. But before you go, make sure that they are respectable, and they know what they are doing. if you want good , you have to spend the money. So go to some one with lots of credits.

I said this to another question too, I swear by the Clean & Clear Advantage Fast Clearing Acne Kit, its like $20 at drugstores. It has a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a spot treatment. It works absolute miracles, I had acne problems and within two days it was completely gone. I also had really dry skin before using it and the moisturizer really helps.

If this doesnt help I would try exfoilating your face once a week, and start using lotion every day.

Good luck!

why are you using lemon and adding natural acid to your face?
anyways try this:
1. see a doctor
2. don't buy anything off the shelf in cosmetic aisles
3. get Pure virgin oil and spread it around your face for five minutes and wash it off..only a little bit
4. Go to the spa maybe once and ask a lot of questions. You could try going once and see the results..they'll obviously say that you need to visit the spa more often for your money because they may use product like moisturizers that dry your skin once you stop using it!..but go for the advice is my advice.

p.s.: I think it makes good sense to use a moisturizer that doesn't dry your skin once you stop using it..or else it has no purpose, but many girls fall for commercials like the Olay body moisturizer that lasts for around 2 showers....now I think that's gross.

but make sure to see a skin specialist or at least a doctor!

your skin is oily underneath the surface - I have the same thing. It is a good thing-your skin will not age as fast as others. If acne is a problem-go to your dermatologist and ask him about accutane. People have really given this drug a bad name when it truly is a wonder drug. As long as you arent going to get pregnant (haha) and you dont fry yourself in the sun, you should be fine. You take it for 6 months and your skin (especially our type) will come out amazing!! Sometimes people have to take it for another 6 months, but dont fret trust me, my dr has had 100% success with it.It will get rid of your scars. After your treatment is over-get the "light" treatment (or whatever they use for discoloration now ) there are so many new things for skin that you will be amazed at your improvement. If you want to go the natural route try RetinA, or even check out online the skin store and try alpha\beta hydroxy acids as well-basically you need to exfoliate the top part of your skin, which will allow your skin cells to "turnover" faster and reveal the young skin underneath. Oops-I didnt realize you were a girl-you must NOT get pregnant while on this drug-in fact my dr. made me get on birth control to prescribe it.

Use a good moisturizer or I suggest you try using Zenmend Derma Lotion from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com.

Zenmend has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum

Another product that I think is effective is Autopalm. This

The best thing to is to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist right away. They specialize in skin care. I had a buddy that had a similar issue as yours and he went to the dermatologist and they were able to diagnose his problem and help him with it. Best of luck to you.

Sounds like you are drying out your skin. Maybe you should try biore facial wash. I use to break out alot. Since I have been using biore I don't have any more break outs, and my skin is softer. You could also follow with a facial moisturizer. BIORE PORE UNCLOGGING SCRUB
