This is a COOL way to get kids to eat the two most HATED vegetables on the planet. The kids will LOVE it and your teacher will be IMPRESSED, I am sure. Also, while it tastes really good, it is also a healthy snack. So YAY!! You will get an A+++!! BROCCOLI & CAULIFLOWER DUNKERS W/PIZZA SAUCE 2/3 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 slightly beaten egg whites 1 tablespoon milk 4 cups cauliflower or broccoli florets 2 tablespoons butter, melted 15 ounces pizza sauce In a large Ziplock bag combine bread crumbs, cheese, and salt. In another large bag combine egg whites and milk and add veggies and toss. Then, add veggies to bag with crumbs and cheese and toss. Place coated veggies on a cookie sheet (sprayed with Pam) and drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 400 degrees about 20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Serve veggies with heated pizza sauce.

By this age they should be at least starting to eat regular meals with the family, but it can be hard if they are picky, or are used to eating only the foods they like.
For good, easy, heakthy recipes check out www.kraftcanada.ca or www.kraftfoods.com they have sections for kid-friendly food, and also for healthy eating, plus nutritional info is listed for each recipe.

peanut butter sandwiches, they might like apple slices with caramel dip or veggies with ranch dip. Make english muffin cheese pizzas in the oven. Toast with jam.. macaroni and cheese. baked chicken legs and mashed potatoes. You have to experiment with kids b/c they can be very very picky. I was never forced to eat as a child and i like pretty much everything now b/c I learned to like it on my own. But say no to fast food unless you want your child to become overweight.
