Panasonic India?

Question

I have a Panasonic KX-TG2356 cordless phone gifted to me. When I try to call out, it says : Nolink to Base. Move closer to base:
I placed it right next to the base with no result.
I tried to re-register the handset as suggested but get an error message

Try taking out the battery from the handset and unplugging the base. Leave both unplugged for several minutes. Plug the battery back in the handset and set the handset on the base. Now plug the base into the wall. They should resync and be able to re-register. If not, then I'd try contacting Panasonic Customer Care -- Good luck with that!
