Do you think there's life out there?

Question

I think there is, not the monstrous creatures or little green men you see on Holywood movies... I also was thinking about; I don't think that H2O or CO2 is needed in order for there to be life I mean there could be other elements that men doesnt know about that can be used in order for there to be life, maybe that's just me..

and yes i believe that there is life out there somewhere, it might need what earth has in order to mantain life, but there could be other ways besides water and oxigen.

I think that its nearly impossible for there not to be other life forms. There are billions and billions of solar systems out in space, and to think mars even had water on the surface and may yet have some within the planet. If two out of the eight planets circling around the sun have life then just do the math yourself. I know the chances are not that good in all cases but still...

While I think there is an abundance of single cell life out there in the universe, in fact there is a good case for single cell life being found under the ice covered seas of the moon Europa which orbits Jupiter. Unfortunately the case for complex multi-cellular life is not as good Ck out this book Rare Earth (Why Complex Life is Uncommon in the Universe) It made me reassess my thoughts on the matter.

When I look out the window, in daytime, there is life out there. At least, I think it's alive. Squirrels, birds, people.

If you're asking whether there is life in the universe, maybe. But maybe not. It's worth looking for, and when and if they find it, I'll certainly be inerested. Till then, I won't lose any sleep about it.
